Good bike, slight delay

I ordered a Freego F1 Fat Tire Folding eBike and received it last week. The bike itself is solid, good for my commute and folds up nicely for storage. It took about 9 days to arrive, which was a bit longer than I hoped, but the packaging was secure. Customer service answered my question about tracking quickly. Overall, it's a good value for the price, though a faster shipping option would be nice.

Nice bike for the trails

So I finally got myself a Freego DK200 Electric Dirt Bike. It's pretty cool! I took it out on some local trails last weekend and it handled everything I threw at it. The power is good, and it feels pretty sturdy. It came in a big box and took me a little bit to get it put together, but nothing too crazy. Definitely having fun with this one.

Detailed Freego X2 Pro experience

I purchased the Freego X2 Pro All-Terrain Dirt eBike a few weeks ago. The ordering process on the website was straightforward; I found all the specifications I needed. Shipping took about 8 business days to reach my location in California. The bike arrived mostly assembled, requiring only minor setup for the handlebars and pedals. The quality of the components seems very good, especially the suspension. I had a question about the display settings, and their customer support responded to my email within a day with clear instructions. The bike performs great on trails, handling various terrains well. The battery life is as advertised, which is a big plus for longer rides. I did notice the charger gets a little warm, but it seems normal for a high-capacity battery. Overall, a positive experience from purchase to riding.

Consistent quality as always

This was my third purchase from Freego USA, this time an ES-10S Electric Scooter. Just like my previous Freego X1 Series bike, the scooter arrived well-packed and in perfect condition. The performance is exactly what I expected based on their descriptions. I keep coming back because their products are reliable, and I haven't had any issues with their bikes or scooters holding up over time. Always a solid experience.

Thinking of getting an X2 Pro, but worried about delivery. How long does shipping usually take for these e-bikes, especially to like, California?

S Steven K. 3 weeks ago
Mine took about a week to get to San Diego. Was pretty quick actually, like 5 business days once it shipped.

Yeah, I think they ship from a US warehouse, so it's not like coming from overseas. I got my F1 in about 6 days to NorCal. You should be good.

Does Freego offer any financing options like Affirm or Klarna? Want to get one of the F2 Pro bikes but paying all at once is a bit much.

E Elizabeth T. 1 month ago
I think they do! I saw Affirm as an option at checkout when I was looking at the X2. Not 100% sure about Klarna, but Affirm for sure.

Yep, they definitely have Affirm. Makes it way easier to spread out the cost. Just select it at checkout.

Hey, anyone know if Freego does student discounts? Or like, any special codes for first-time buyers? Trying to save a bit on one of the scooters.

L Luke L. 1 week ago
I got a first purchase discount when I signed up for their newsletter, it was like $50 off an ebike. Not sure about student specific stuff though.

They do military and first responder discounts, I think. For students, you might have to check their site directly or hit up support. Sometimes they have seasonal sales too.

Just wondering about the return policy for their e-bikes. If I get one and it's not quite right, is it a huge hassle to send back?

B Barbara Lopez 2 weeks ago
I actually had to return an accessory once. It wasn't too bad, just make sure you keep all the original packaging. They outline it pretty clearly on their site.

S Stephanie Walker 2 weeks ago
Yeah, returns were pretty easy for me. Just make sure you initiate it within their window and the bike is in good condition. You might have to pay for return shipping on bigger items, so keep that in mind.

How are Freego bikes compared to Sur-Ron? Specifically looking at the X2 Pro vs one of the Sur-Ron light bees. Is it worth the price difference?

K Kyle Taylor 5 days ago
Totally different vibe. Freego X2 Pro is a beast, more torque for off-road. Sur-Ron is lighter, maybe a bit more nimble but feels less substantial to me. Depends on what kind of riding you do.

I've ridden both. Freego feels more rugged and powerful for serious dirt trails. Sur-Ron is great, but the Freego just feels more planted and has better components for hard riding, imo. You get more bike for your money with Freego.
